This scholarship was established in 2009 and awards students pursuing Arts and Sciences degrees based on need. Give Now

Lowell and Rosa Lee Dennis Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2018 by alumnus Bradley Dennis '73, this scholarship awards undergraduate and graduate students who have accomplished meritorious achievements while pursuing an Arts and Sciences degree. Give Now

Howard College of Arts and Sciences Diversity Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students from historically underrepresented groups based on financial need, academic achievement, leadership ability, and the potential to make positive contributions to the university. 

David Foreman Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to upper-level mathematics majors with significant financial need and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.  It was established to honor the legacy of David Foreman. 

G. Allan Yeoman's Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Dr. Allan Yeomans, the founding father of Communication Studies at Samford, to support students majoring in Communication Studies.

JMC Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship supports students majoring in journalism and mass communication.

Tony Hale Film Production Annual Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2014 by Tony Hale '92, an Emmy-winning primetime actor. This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in journalism and mass communication or theatre film production.

Jon and Marianne Clemmensen Journalism/Mass Communication Endowed Fund

This scholarship was established in 2005 to honor and remember Jon and Marianne Clemmensen. The scholarship is awarded to upper-level journalism and mass communication students.

Timothy Sumner Robinson Scholarship Fund

This scholarship provides funding for the Department of Communication and Media's annual speaker's forum and the participation of Samford students in a fellowship with The Washington Post.

George H. Smith Communication Scholarship

Established in 1998, this scholarship is awarded to students majoring in journalism and mass communication.

Michael Gary Martin Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1986 by Michael Gary Martin, this scholarship is awarded to students majoring in journalism and mass communication pursuing a career in print journalism.
